On the 24th and 25th March from 10am - 6pm, Abu Dhabi’s much-loved entertainment destination will host the annual water-themed festival, doubling the excitement by introducing an extra day packed with thrilling watersports. The marina-wide event will offer a plethora of on-the-water and off-the-water activities suitable for everyone including wakesurfing, wakeboarding and slacklining above the water for the adrenaline junkies. While families can enjoy the floating obstacle course, water slides, paddleboarding, mangrove cruises and much more. The sixth edition of Splash @ Yas Marina is set to be the biggest and most exciting since its launch in 2012.
In addition to this, visitors can satiate their appetite and unwind at any of Yas Marina’s seven licensed outlets, which will be offering a number of deals. Choose from breakfast and lunch brunches at Café d’Alsace on Friday, Iris picnic brunch on Saturday and Stars N Bars daily brunch on both days.
Whether a watersport fanatic, expert, or someone simply looking to enjoy a wet and wild day out, Splash @ Yas Marina is the place to be this March.
And best of all, no pre-registration or pre-booking is needed. With all registration done onsite, there will be a central Information kiosk set-up for visitors to learn about the activities, sign up and pay on the day, however, to guarantee a spot, it is advised that visitors arrive early.
Activities for Kids
There will be family fun at the WET’N’WILD Zone with a floating obstacle course, inflatable water slides and many more activities for children.
Suitable for: Children aged 5 and above.
Fee: One-time entrance fee of AED 30 per child for unlimited access.
That’s not it, kids under 12 can try kayaking and sailing accompanied by their parents with Abu Dhabi Sailing Academy or tow rides behind the boat with Eywoa.
Activities for Adrenaline Junkies
Not for the faint-hearted, the Extreme Zone at Yas Marina is the ultimate haven for those looking for a whole lot of adventure. From wakeboarding to slacklining right above the water, Yas Marina has the answer for adrenaline cravings.
Operated by specialist watersport company Eyowa, all high-octane activities are created for riders by riders, from wakeboarding to wakesurfing and kitesurfing. Experienced athletes can take part in a friendly contest for prizes, while Eyowa will be offering introductory taster sessions at discounted rates for beginners.
Suitable for: Visitors aged 13 and above.
Fee: Prices start at AED 90 for taster sessions. Slacklining is free of charge.
Activities for everyone
For those who prefer to take it easy, Captain Tony’s Cruises will offer relaxing 45-minute mangrove tours every hour around Yas Island. Enjoy the sun while taking in stunning views.
For the full marina experience, Abu Dhabi Sailing Academy (ADSA) will offer a range of classes with experienced instructors who will provide free sailing taster sessions for children under the age of 12. Alternatively, learn how to steer and skipper a boat and train to become the captain with help of The Captain’s Club, which will be offering training sessions free of charge over the two days of Splash @ Yas Marina.
Visitors of all ages can Stand Up Paddle (SUP) or Kayak across the Marina to enjoy the iconic vistas and create splashing memories.

Fee: Sailing sessions are priced at AED 60 for 30 minutes, AED 120 for one hour and free of charge for children under 12. Charters will be priced at AED 100 for adults and 50 for kids on the day. Kayaking and SUP prices start at AED 40. Tow rides prices start at AED 80 for single rides.
Big Day Out
Beat the end of winter blues at the tropical-themed sixth edition of Splash @ Yas Marina. Inspired by the vibrant and refreshing tropical theme, expect to find the venue decked with neon coloured decorations. Everything at Yas Marina, from food & beverages to music and signage, will reflect the theme of the festival.
As the sun sets, DJs will kick-start the party, while live bands will entertain guests at Iris, Stars ‘N’ Bars, Diablito and Aquarium.
All events and activities will be supervised by qualified instructors and lifeguard – necessary safety equipment will be provided. Changing facilities with showers are available onsite to allow visitors to dry off.
